Learning Visual Abstract Art/Processes
This is a drawing into painting course, informed by Modernism & Contemporary Art, with focus on abstraction, mark making, structure, space and colour. Initial experimental abstract drawing will open out mark-making and composition learning to trust the first response. Classes will include ways to work with intuition and ways to get into the “Art Zone”. Participants will learn how to connect to their artwork, by learning have dialogue with it, creating an intuitive response.
Dhyana offers ways for artists of all levels, from beginner through to experienced to keep developing your work in their desired direction. Dhyana talks 1 on 1 or with the group to work out strategies that will help them progress, and to move into new areas.

Integration of the Visual Language Developing your “Style”
This is a drawing into painting course, informed by Contemporary & Abstract Art, with initial focus on abstraction, mark making, structure, space and colour.
Initial experimental abstract drawing will open out mark-making and composition learning to trust the first response.
Collaborative drawing provides a good warm up, and a way to learn together in a light atmosphere. Over time the abstract visual language can be integrated into your current art practice
Classes will include ways to work with intuition and ways to get into the “Art Zone”. Participants will learn how to connect to their artwork, by learning to have dialogue with it and creating an intuitive response. Feedback: while the work is in progress will consider what fresh vision can be brought to your work to develop it further.
