Visual Intuition :: Inner-Tuition :: Being Inspired

(Date to be set)
An Online Workshop will be up soon

Tuning into your own source of inspiration & artistic direction
Participants will learn how to connect to their artwork intuitively, by experiencing ways to get into the “Art Zone” and how to create dialogue; a feedback loop with the artwork creating an intuitive response that resolves the work.

Practices involve lifting energy to be more intuitively aligned, so the art works flows and the artist attains a state where the ego recedes.
We will discuss your artwork in a supportive art environment – getting feedback at the level that we can grow, this creates space and energy to keep moving and expanding.
Dhyana offers ways for artists of all levels, from beginner through to experienced to keep developing their work in their desired direction.

In this workshop, we explore meditative & contemplative states as a way to express our artistic being.

Expect to move, meditate and chant as well as get creative with personal mandala drawings as you connect to self. Let these practices enliven you to your own insights & your unique artistic creation.

We will provide pencils and pens and large paper for your creative output.
We’re not using paint so you won’t get messy. Wear comfy clothes that you can move in.

This workshop is part of the 40-Day challenge so get TWO stickers for coming along! Standard class rates apply. Please email marketing@hotyogawellington.co.nz to book your place.

This workshop is hosted by our longtime member Dhyana. She is the artist of both the mandala paintings hanging in studio at Featherston & Lower Hutt. Dhyana has been an artist for 3 decades and has taught the creative process to new and experienced students – in tertiary institutes and one to one. She describes herself as a visionary artist investigating intuition. This path has been deepened through her yoga and meditation practice.
